Time to Slow Down and Take a Breath

Well the Fair Grove Heritage Reuninon festival has come and gone and its time for things to slow down and go back to normal. Finally! I had a great time, it turns out all the stress and anxiety I had over having a booth, and making it look pretty as well as having enough stuff in it was all silly. I feel like our booth turned out great and we had plenty of items in it, we even have some left over! I can't wait to do it again next year, and maybe add a couple more festivals to the list!  Big big thanks to everyone who showed up to support us and big thanks to everyone who purchased and ordered things from us. For anyone who came by and would like something from the booth or my page here in a different size/or color you can email or call me to have that set up.  I don't have an etsy.com shop set up yet but as soon as I do I will make sure the infromation is on this page. So what's next? I have a few orders to fill and after that I will get an early start on next years items. I'm going to try a few new things that include mittens, leg warmers, some different hats, toys, and a sweater will be the biggest project. Whoa, long list right? Its ok I'm excited to do more things! Below are some pictures of our booth for anyone who didn't get the chance to stop by and see it!

Again if you have any questions or would like to place an order with me for something here or anywhere else on my page please contact me there is a link on the right hand side of this page. Also if you have something in mind that you don't see let me know and we can probably work something out! Until next time I'll be knitting for ewe!

Only Two More Weeks

In two weeks the fall festival will be here and I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. Yesterday I visited a yarn shop here in town A New Yarn and I'm gonna start going to little knit sessions they have there. I'm excited to finally meet some other knitters and posibbly learn some new tricks and share all of my work!  Anyways I haven't updated my blog lately so I decided to post somemore pictures of the things I've beenworking on. Here goes....

Who doesn't want their baby to have a pumpkin hat and matching booties?

Multiple sizes available

Cocoon I made for my friends baby.
The finished mouse hat, from the last post.

 Different colors of baby headbands

Hairbows; sold with clips and option of a headband

Adult cat hat

Elephant hat I made for my friends baby, I forgot to take a picture of the finished piece so once baby Charlie gets here I'll have to get one!

There is more to come! My mom and I have also started making some tutus for the booth. We are making them for newborns to 5T and puppies! Until next time, I'll be knitting for ewe!

The Heat is on!

It is the middle of the summer and while the temperatures are at an all time high here in the Midwest I'm creating projects to keep you nice and cozy this winter! I have 8 weeks until the fall festival in Fair Grove and I'm very excited and also very stressed. This will be the first event that I have been to like this where I will be selling my stuff for the first time.So much knitting to be done so little time! Here is a short preview of the things that I have been working on for the festival!
Button headband with crochet border and flower.

I decided why not make the same headband for babies?
Hair bows, many different colors, here is one example.
All this knitting is wearing poor daisy out!
 Infant mouse hat (in progress)
There are a couple other things I'm working on as well more pictures to come soon!! Until next time, I'll be knitting for ewe!

Finally Some Pictures!

Alright well here they are, these are all the things I made last month. Which actually doesn't turn out to be that much for an entire month. I've got a lot of work to do for this craft festival, so I'm gonna be a very busy girl!

This hat was extremely large when I first made it. It was the first hat I ever attempted to make and I'm glad I finally got the right size.

Talk about DRAMA

The hat below inspired this headband which I will be selling in my booth

More colors and more to come!

So there you have it. I'm still working on the Forget Me Knot headbands should be done with them in the next couple weeks, then I'll move on to the next project I plan to sell at the festival which I haven't decided what that will be yet. I'm also starting a flower headband that should be finished in the next few days. Until next time I'll be knitting for ewe

Still being a bad blogger

My apologies! I have been very busy knitting though, I have been accepted to a craft festival in September to sell my items so I have a lot of knitting to do and I'm very excited! I will try my best to get some pictures of my things up this week. I would also like for everyone to keep my family and all the others effected by the tornado in Joplin Missouri in their prayers, it is a terrible tragedy and my heart goes out to every person there.

Bad Blogger

Ok this will be the last time I say it but I'm a bad blogger! I've been slacking off big time. This is where it stops! I have recently moved to the country and Internet there is slower than Christmas which has put a damper on my cyber social life. I'm going to start updating my blog once or twice a week to talk about my progress on projects and then at the end of the week I'll post the pics. Yay! Anyways, right now I'm currently working on a rose necklace, re-doing my slouchy green and grey striped hat, and another giant headband made from some handspun yarn I got for Christmas! I have completed an oversize headband with a huge bow, a mustache necklace, and a braided necklace. Also in the past few months I have started to learn to crochet a little I'll be making a hippie headband (hopefully)and I found a pattern for some really cute hair clips. I'll post pics of most of these Friday so until then I'll be knitting for ewe!
